2023 TOYOTA COROLLA CROSS Exterior & Interior
The 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross is nothing like its namesake, despite the name. Instead, it has a fresh appearance that takes style influences from the larger RAV4.
Speaking of size, this subcompact crossover fills the need for a tiny crossover that can actually tow some goods by bridging the C-HR and RAV4 gaps. The Toyota Corolla Cross for 2023 is anticipated to maintain the same exterior and interior styling.
2023 TOYOTA COROLLA CROSS Safety Features
The Corolla Cross boasts many standard safety features, similar to the majority of Toyota models, such as automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, active lane control, and automatic high lights. Blind-spot monitors are added to LE models, and parking sensors and rear cross-traffic braking are added to XLE vehicles. In 2023, we anticipate that these characteristics will continue to be standard. The Corolla Cross has not yet undergone testing by the IIHS or NHTS.
2023 TOYOTA COROLLA CROSS Engine
The Corolla Cross currently has only one engine available under the hood: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 169 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. Power can be sent to the front wheels or all four axles when this engine is coupled with a continuously variable gearbox. The ability to purchase an all-wheel-drive Corolla Cross is the main distinction between it and the smaller C-HR. This engine is anticipated to remain the same in the 2023 Corolla Cross.
Although it has been established that Toyota would introduce a hybrid Corolla Cross, little is known about the vehicle’s drivetrain. The Corolla Hybrid’s 1.8-liter hybrid engine, which has 121 horsepower, would certainly need to be updated because it is too underpowered for a vehicle of this size, according to logic. Unconfirmed rumors of a future plug-in hybrid model are also present. Range for the Corolla Cross PHEV is still up for debate.
