2023 Toyota 4Runner–Toyota will release a limited-edition 2023 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition vehicle based on the SR5 Premium grade to commemorate 40 years of adventures. The retro-inspired yellow/orange/red body graphics on the 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition stand out. It also has “bronze-colored 17-inch alloy wheels, a TOYOTA heritage grille that matches the body color, and a bronze-colored 40th Anniversary external tailgate logo.”

2023 Toyota 4Runner Exterior
Midnight Black Metallic, White, and Barcelona Red Metallic are the exterior paint colors available for the 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition. Toyota will only sell 4,040 copies of the 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition to commemorate the 40th anniversary.
2023 Toyota 4Runner Interior
Unique badging on the center console, bronze-colored seat stitching, 40th Anniversary floor mats, a bronze-colored cross-stitch shift knob, and a 40th Anniversary logo on the Black SofTex-trimmed seats distinguish the 4Runner 40th Anniversary Special Edition inside. A motorized moonroof is also included on the limited-edition SUV.
2023 Toyota 4Runner Engine
A 4.0-liter V-6 engine is standard on all 2023 Toyota 4Runner SUV models. It produces 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque when mated to a five-speed automated transmission. With an estimated fuel efficiency of up to 16 city/19 highway mpg, the SUV is not extremely fuel efficient. In addition, the 2023 4Runner has a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. In addition, the 4Runner accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds.The 4Runner is available with either a front-wheel drive or a traction-enhancing four-wheel drive system. The TRD Pro, TRD Off-Road, and TRD Off-Road Premium are three off-road-focused variants offered by the 4Runner.
2023 Toyota 4Runner Price & Release date
The 2023 Toyota 4Runner SUV is expected to be released in late summer/early fall 2022. It will be sold at Toyota dealerships all around the United States, as well as in a few other markets. The Toyota 4Runner is made in Japan, at both Toyota’s Tahara facility and Hino Motors’ Hamura plant. The price of the 2023 Toyota 4Runner is yet to be revealed. The 2023 4Runner, on the other hand, is expected to cost slightly more than the 2022 4Runner. The 2022 4Runner starts at $38,105 MSRP for the SR5 trim and goes up to $52,920 MSRP for the TRD Pro trim.
