2024 Toyota bZ3X–Toyota’s bZ4X electric SUV first left us perplexed. Was this a jumbled nameplate? Unable to solve a CAPTCHA? However, the naming makes a bit more sense now that Toyota has teased both a larger bZ5X SUV and this little bZ3X crossover. The bZ3X, a new vehicle in Toyota’s expanding bZ (Beyond Zero) lineup, is now only a concept, but it will eventually fill a void the size of the C-HR in the company’s planned lineup of Toyota EVs. The bZ3X is an evident entrance into the subcompact crossover market of the future, despite the fact that information about the powertrain, including battery size and maximum range, is still being kept under wraps. In order to release 30 new EVs by 2030, Toyota and Lexus must complete this phase.
