2024 PORSCHE MACANThe 2024 Porsche Macan will be both a carryover and an entirely new model. Porsche will reveal an EV variation of the Macan while continuing to build the regular model. According to Autocar, the new EV version of Porsche’s tiny crossover would be built on the same Premium Platform Electric as the solo Taycan. The old PPE has received motor improvements as well as platform updates, resulting in revised power figures of 603 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Porsche has not stated if the Taycan’s “overboost” feature, which briefly elevates those stats to 751 hp and 774 lb-ft, would be available in the Macan EV.

The suspension and chassis of the electric Macan will be upgraded over the ordinary model. The Macan EV will be the first Porsche with two-valve dampers, rear-wheel steering, and bigger tires. Upper-tier vehicles will also include an electronically locked rear differential. We have yet to see what the trim level structure for the Macan EV would look like, although it could be similar to the Taycan or the current Macan. The “normal” Macan is likely to see significantly less alteration. The current version was released in 2014, however it underwent significant revisions in 2021. It is available in four trim levels: Base, T, S, and GTS. The Macan T debuted in 2023 as a sportier alternative to the Base that does not include the V6 turbo.
