2023 Acura MDX Exterior & Interior
The Acura MDX comes well-equipped with prominent features including laminated front and side glass, a capless fuel filling, 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, trademark running lights, and taillights, a motorized tailgate, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, and reverse tilt-down.
Inside, the MDX has push-button-release second-row seats, push-button release heated seats with 12-way power adjustment and memory for the driver, a power tilt and telescoping leather-wrapped steering wheel, tri-zone temperature control, and brushed aluminum trim.A 12.3-inch infotainment display with a remote touchpad controls the wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, SiriusXM, HD radio, and Alexa Built-In capabilities of the Acura MDX. Each trim level adds functionality, but all models come standard with Wi-Fi, remote linked services, a wireless charging pad, and multiple USB and 12-volt power connections in the first and second rows.
2023 Acura MDX Safety Features
The MDX is well-equipped with traffic sign recognition, automatic high beams, blind-spot detection with rear cross-traffic braking, full-speed active cruise control with traffic-jam help, and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection. Low-speed braking, parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers are added to the Technology trim, and surround-view cameras are added to the Advance trim. With Superior ratings for vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian accident avoidance, as well as Good ratings for its headlights, the MDX receives the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ designation (for 2022). In other words, it couldn’t have received a better grade. The NHTSA awards the MDX a total rating of five stars.
2023 Acura MDX Engine
A 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque power the MDX. Although front-wheel drive is the default, Acura’s Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive system is standard on A-Spec and higher grades and is optional for $2,200. For a more agile feel and improved stability, the clever system can effectively drive the front wheels or overdrive the rear outer wheel with up to 70% of the available torque. The EPA estimates the front-wheel-drive vehicles to get 19 city mpg, 26 highway mpg, and 22 combined mpg, while the AWD system only costs one combined mpg point.
2023 Acura MDX Price & Release date
The 2023 MDX’s beginning pricing range from $50,245 to $73,895, according to an Acura news release, and it started showing up on some dealer lots on June 23, 2022.
